My wonderful parents

Do you ever look at your life and get so filled with gratitude? 

I did today as I realized just how amazing my parents truly are. They are so wonderful to me. They are funny and sweet and caring and helpful. They are there every time I text or call them. They are there when I need them and there when I want them.

 I miss them soo much but I'm so grateful that they are wonderful enough to miss. 

I'm grateful for all they have given and taught me. I'm grateful for all the memories I have with them. 

I have no idea where I would be, who I would be or what I would do without them. 

So, to my Mom and Dad.

Thank you for being you. 

Thank you for being such great examples in the gospel and as parents. 

And thank you for making me smile every day.

Friday thoughts

Thoughts for the day....

I miss Fluffy. He is so cute and I miss cuddling with him when he would let me.

I miss Benny! Our random talks, him dealing with my weirdness and just chillin' in his garage.

What a good guy he is. 

 And I want to see our elephant Horatio Schmoberts.

I think my Mom is adorable. I mean look at that face?? She is just precious. (and if reading this, she is rolling her eyes)

I hate to say it...and he will enjoy it way too much...buuuuuut....I miss my Dad's humor! A lot. 

I miss Mr. Mustard on the table, the "denial" river, his "punny" jokes and "Zebedee or not to be." 

I have the best brothers in the world. I love how close I am with each of them. Thank you Trevor for actually texting me back and helping me with muffins. Thank you Jake for always skyping me and chatting with me. Thank you Kevin for our most random chats that usually involve new, awesome and great dance music. 

 I miss my sister! She is currently in Europe and has been for 13 days and still has 5 days there. I am incredibly jealous and I miss talking to her every day. She is the one that helps me with my stupid anxiety and always calms me down. She needs to come back now! P.S. She's also going to be a FANTASTIC mother. 

And last and kinda least, I just made muffins for the first time by myself....let's see how they taste...

SUCCESS! They are not as good as my Mom's of course but I think I did pretty well!

Past weekend

Last weekend I got to go to Logan and Tooele! It was wonderful :) I went to Lindsay's wedding reception and she was so beautiful and happy! It made me happy! Then we hung out in Tooele that night and I got to cross something off my bucket list! 

I CLIMBED A WATER TOWER!

 It was scaryyyyy (it didn't help that I was in a skirt and barefoot) but I did it and I'm so excited! It was awesome! 

Then I spent a lot of the weekend with Court and her family. I love those people. 

The weekend was awesome, it involved wonderful food (including some awesome grits that Court made me and Chick-fila fries!) hot tubbing, lots of popsicles and plenty of laughing. 

It was quite wonderful :)

Happy Mother's Day

Just like every other blogger in the world today, I'm writing about my wonderful mother. But she deserves a whole day dedicated to her. Because honestly, I would not in any way be who I am without her. She lets me call her every day or multiple times in a day to just talk about nothing or everything. She lets me cry and stress about stupid things and then calms me down and reminds me it's all going to be okay. She helps me stand up for myself and be a stronger person. She keeps me from flying too far away from reality while I think about the crazy dreams I want to follow. She let's me hug and cuddle in her nook...sometimes. She keeps our home the perfect home. And I never doubt that she loves me. She's such an amazing woman with a wonderful heart. She is sweet and caring and yet says the funniest things that make my day. She can be serious and hardworking but goofy and so fun the next second. She's who I look up to and who I strive to be. I miss her every day while I'm away.

Engagements

This weekend I got to take engagement pictures for my beautiful friend Sariah and her fiance. They are precious and so much fun to shoot. I was super excited to take pictures for my friends and they turned out great! Here's a few of my favorites!
